At last year’s Liberty Lottery, Mark Fleming shocked the wrestling world when he helped “Mr. Xcellence” Brandon Scott become the undisputed Virginia Heavyweight Champion. Fleming’s career is synonymous with no-nonsense grappling, which made his hands-on approach all the more shocking. It appeared as if this would be the beginning of a long professional relationship. However, when Scott’s title reign was cut short in October by Ken Dixon, Fleming dropped off the map.
On July 30th at the Norfolk Masonic Temple, Mark Fleming will once again be in the corner of Brandon Scott for what they are calling a Liberty Lottery Warm-Up Match! Fleming believes that Scott has what it takes to compete twice in one night and walk out the winner both times, a feat that would inevitably lead him to a rematch for the Virginia Heavyweight Championship.
Alex Devine has been making an impression lately in VCW, as the young upstart has wowed the crowd with death-defying risks. Could the risk of stepping into the ring with “Mr. Xcellence” with Fleming at ringside be too great even for him?
